Early stage of a turbulent shelf cloud causing a sinister twilight to fall shortly before the most violent storm ever seen takes place

A surprise during the early hours of the 2nd Sunday of july. A high based t-storm approached my hometown with frequent electrical activity and a lot of CG lightnings

Another hunt ended with the sight of this imposing “whale’s mouth” with some attempt to create a shelf cloud at its leading edge at the head of an intense storm line descending from the preAlp towards the coast
